Pies on Parade: Yummy Food + All For a Great Cause

Pies on Parade 2017 happens this Sunday (Jan. 29) in the greater Rockland area. More than 20 Rockland area venues have signed on to participate, and the list continues to grow.

According to the event's website, this is not your average pie-in-the-sky event. Move aside Mom’s apple pie, Rockland’s inns and restaurants will serve up everything from Shepherds Pie, and a number of gourmet Pizza Pies, sweet and savory Italian Galettes, seafood pies, even Whoopie Pies!

Take in the “Pie-rade” with proceeds to benefit the Area Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry. Over the past twelve years, more than $110,000 has been donated to help provide food for Midcoast families.
