Poliquin Wants A President George H. W. Bush Coin

According to WMTW, Maine Rep Bruce Poliquin has introduced a bill into Congress that would create a $1 coin honoring recently passed President George H. W. Bush and his wife, Barbara.

Poliquin introduced the President George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush Dollar Coin Act in the U.S. House earlier this week.

The coins would be minted for one year, beginning January 1st.

Under a program created by Congress in 2005, all deceased Presidents can be featured on $1 coins.
