I recently received an email from a listener in Harpswell…we had to do it as a Renee of Sunshine. It is a heart-warming story of a great kid. The letter from Leanna says “I am a caregiver for an elderly lady who was brought home from her nursing home to be surrounded by her family. A neighborhood teen, who saved his money all summer for a go-kart found out about this lady coming home and asked his mom if he could use his money to buy her an electric wheelchair. He got the ok and purchased the chair which he gave to the family. This teen had never met the elderly lady.”

OMG…Leanna…yes…we are all moved by this story.  I am sure his family is very proud of him.  I can also tell you we are all very proud of him.  It is that kind, loving spirit that will change the world.  Thank you for reaching out.  Have a story you want to share and to be considered for Renee of Sunshine....send it in here or from the 92 Moose App on the button that says 'Message the Moose".
