Six Year Old Struck By Truck Waiting For The Bus

According to WCSH 6, a six year old is recovering from leg injuries after being struck by a pickup truck while he was waiting for the bus.

The accident took place on Vineyard Road in Farmington on Monday morning.

The boy was preparing to board his bus when he was hit.  While the bus was stopped, it is not clear whether or not the vehicle's lights were on or if its sign was extended.  At this time, no charges have been filed.  The accident is still under investigation.

The boy is expected to make a full recovery.
