Superintendent Of Winthrop School District Resigns

According to a letter sent to Winthrop School District employees, Superintendent Gary Rosenthal has resigned.

The resignation will be effective June 30th

The letter says, in part, "Between now and June 30, I look forward to continuing to working (sic) hard for the district, focusing on the needs of the students, and assisting in any way that I can to ensure a smooth transition."

The letter sites irreconcilable differences with the administration as the reason for his departure.
