A long-vacant downtown space is about to come back to life. Supper Club Cocktail Lounge will officially open its doors on Saturday, February 28, at 441 Congress Street near Monument Square.

The address, which has sat vacant for several years, is being reintroduced to Portland as a warm, neighborhood-driven cocktail bar and restaurant designed for lingering evenings and familiar faces.

Supper Club will be open Thursday through Monday starting at 5 p.m., with the kitchen serving dinner until 9 p.m. The bar will remain open until midnight Thursday through Saturday and until 11 p.m. on Sunday and Monday nights, positioning it as both an early evening dinner destination and a relaxed late-night gathering spot.

The 2,400-square-foot space blends ambient lighting, comfortable lounge elements, and a polished bar program to create an atmosphere that encourages guests to settle in and stay awhile.

The cocktail program balances classic structure with playful flavor. "The Nifty Fifty" reimagines a 50/50 martini with pear and apple vermouth, sherry, and orange, while "Automatic Love" combines cilantro tequila, guava, fresno chiles, and lime.

A trio of nonalcoholic drinks, plus a small selection of beer and wine, round out the offerings. Chef Lo’s menu features vibrant plates like the Bitter Greens salad and Coconut Poached Hake served in a coconut chili broth.

With its blend of thoughtful cocktails, approachable food, and an inviting neighborhood feel, Supper Club is set to bring new energy to a long-empty Congress Street address.
