If you haven't heard, we've moved the concerts back to their original location in downtown Augusta behind Water and Front Streets

Nostalgia alert! I heard that Nickelback was coming back to Maine and it hit me with a memory that I need to share.

If you have live in the United States for more than a few minutes, you've definitely heard it.

Hearts for Human rights is happening at the Calumet Club in Augusta on Friday (Feb. 13) night starting at 6. It's sponsored by the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine and promises to be a great time!

There's something about upbeat music that really makes your blood flow, more so if you're playing one of the instruments that makes that music. Check out this Stanford cowbell player who is every bit into his performance and isn't afraid to show it!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing my son play the trumpet in the Edward Little High School Band as the school was on their school tour. Yesterday the high school played at my younger son’s school, Park Avenue Elementary in Auburn.

This evening at Edward Little High School it was the Auburn School Music Department's 'All-City Band Concert.' Both of my boys were a part of it. Justin is a first year saxophone player and Dylan plays trumpet and is in the Auburn Middle School (AMS) Band.

Normally holiday school concerts are before the holidays but because of faculty shuffling it wasn't until after Thanksgiving that Auburn Middle School secured their music coordinator and everything got rolling. Tonight was my son Dylan's school band's 'After Holiday, Holiday Concert.'
