I’ve written stories about the Nova Star in the past without opinion but now, after continuous bailouts and lackluster ticket sales it’s time I feel I need to say something on this subject.
We have forward movement regarding news on the ferry from Portland Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Assuming the US government gives the OK, the Nova Star can start selling tickets as early as one week from today! The company that sails the ferry will receive their “Certificate of Performance” within a few days and then they will be good to go as a business.
More and more details are coming out about the new "ferry," 'Nova Star' from Portland, Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. I use the term "ferry" because that’s what it is being referred to as, but really it’s more like a cruise liner.
