Epic Taylor Swift Tribute Experience Coming to Waterville, Maine

Even though she has been a huge star for over a decade, it is only in recent years that Taylor Swift has reached the level of mega-star.

There is so much ‘hype’ around her that, when tickets for her Eras tour went on sale,  she crashed websites.  Her popularity has reached a point that a local minister even referenced Taylor Swift when he was defining the word ‘hype’ during a recent sermon..

In addition to the tour, the movie, and the merchandise, there are now Taylor Swift-themed events popping up all over the country.  Central Maine is no exception to that rule.

A Taylor Swift Experience in Waterville, Maine

According to the Waterville Opera House website, they’ll be hosting Let’s Sing Taylor.

A tribute to Taylor Swift’s music, the event will feature a live band performing the songs of the superstar entertainer.  The tribute features many of Swift's hits like "We Are Never Getting Back Together", "You Belong With Me", "Cruel Summer", and "Shake It Off".

It's the next best thing to attending one of her concerts.

The website explains:

Taking the country by storm, we’re bringing the communal experience of celebrating Taylor’s music in a live setting to Swifties near and far. So, let the games begin. Calling all Swifties to sing your hearts out and sport your Taylor-inspired attire. You can show up at our party any time.

 

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 26^th, 2024.

Tickets cost between $40 and $50.  Currently, they are only on sale to Waterville Creates members.  Tickets for this event will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 12^th.
