#TBT Check Out These TV Shows That Premiered In 1977

Here are the intros for almost every new show that premiered 40 years ago this fall.  Not a shocker, most of them did not last.  Honestly, I don't think I've heard of most of these shows!

It's funny to see the kid actors in some of these shows that went on to act as adults.  Like Helen Hunt (the 90s show "Mad About You" or the movie "Twister") in "The Fitzpatricks".

Apparently, back in the day they loved to make lame cop shows, spinoffs (like "The Betty White Show" and "Lou Grant"), and shows about BIG families.  So, not much has changed!
