The 1,000 Mile Iditarod Has Begun and Heidi Sutter, a Wiscasset Native, is Racing!

Heidi Sutter is a native of Wiscasset but, when she went to Alaska for college, she fell in love with it and stayed! Now, she's in the race of a lifetime...the nearly 1,000 mile Iditarod dog sled race!

Channel 6 talked with her via Facetime before the race, which began in Fairbanks instead of Anchorage this year because of too little snow!
