A Sad Day

Bath ALWAYS had a Memorial Day Parade. For decades, it went off without a hitch. But this year is different. The parade that was planned was suddenly canceled because the American Legion Smith-Tobey Post 21 got caught in a little gambling quagmire and had to pay off some fines.

A NEW Day

Once the news of the parade's demise was out there, someone...some unknown hero...came forward and gave money to ensure the parade went on. So, yes, the parade is back on...even before many knew it was off. Enjoy "The Poetry Man's" warped tale of how it will all play out.
