The Poetry Man Writes a Verse Inspired by Maine’s State House
As I strode through the parking lot to the Moose studios this morning, I was taken by the view of the dome on out state house so I took a little pic and I wrote a little verse....
The state house is empty, the inside is dark,
The grass is still "dewey" in Capitol Park;
But soon the doors open, and bills will get signed,
the crooks will be back and they'll rob Mainers blind.
