The trial of Luc Tieman, charged with killing his wife and burying her in a shallow grave in Skowhegan, starts today. USNews reports her body was found buried behind his parents home.

Officials say the death of a Norridgewock couple appears to be a murder suicide. Centralmaine.com reports the couple and their dog died from gunshot wounds. He man called police  Saturday morning to say there would be two bodies at his house and an elderly woman who would need care. The man's 87-year-old mother, who lived at the house, was found sitting in a vehicle unharmed.
