Time to Sign Up for Holiday Assistance from the Capital Region Salvation Army
The Capital Region Salvation Army will be taking applications for the upcoming 2016 holiday season.
There are a number of days and times to sign up. The Capital Region Salvation Army helps families that qualify under the Federal Low Income Guidelines.
They cover Augusta, Sidney, Hallowell, Winslow, Waterville & Chelsea.
Apply at one of their two locations in the area:
Salvation Army Family Store,184 College Avenue, Waterville, ME
The Salvation Army Capital Region Corps, 36 Eastern Avenue, Augusta, ME
Sign up dates are:
Tuesday, October 18 4pm - 8pm
Wednesday, October 19 9am - Noon & 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Thursday, October 20 9am - Noon & 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Tuesday, October 25 4pm - 8pm
Wednesday, October 26 9am - Noon & 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Thursday, October 27 9am - Noon & 12:30pm - 2:30pm
You will need to bring the following information to register:
- Picture ID
- Birth certificates or social security cards for ALL children in household
- Copy of current income tax OR verification of ALL household income
- Proof of residency
- Verification of address
- PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN
If you are already receiving holiday help from any other organization or agency, you many not apply.
