Maine Authorities Searching for 2 After Turner Cannabis Store Burglary
Authorities in Maine are working to identify two suspects accused of breaking into a cannabis shop in Turner early Thursday morning.
According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office, the burglary happened around 12:50 a.m. at 45 Degrees North Cannabis. Investigators say two individuals forced their way into the business before quickly leaving the scene.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspects fleeing in a white Toyota SUV, but officials have not yet released detailed descriptions of the individuals involved. It’s also unclear at this point what, if anything, was taken during the break-in.
According to WGME, deputies are continuing to investigate and are asking for the public’s help in tracking down those responsible. Anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident or who noticed anything suspicious is encouraged to come forward.
Even small details, like seeing a vehicle matching that description or unusual activity late at night, could help investigators piece together what happened and identify the suspects.
The sheriff’s office says tips from the community often play a key role in cases like this, especially when suspect information is limited in the early stages of an investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Travis Lovering at tlovering@androscoggincountymaine.gov or call dispatch at (207) 753-2599.
