Video Of USCG Ice Breaking On The Kennebec River

According to WABI and the KJ, In an effort to prevent additional flooding on the Kennebec, United States Coast Guard cutters Tackle and Bridle headed up-river this morning (Wednesday).

According to Coast Guard representatives, they don't normally do ice breaking operations in the winter, but the jams have produced heavy flooding this year.
