Walmart will not be displaying undefeated UFC champion Ronda Rousey’s book ‘My Fight/Your Fight’ on their shelves. Why?
There is word that the reason Walmart won’t show the book is because it is “too violent.” Walmart wouldn't say that is the reason, but in a statement said, "a variety of factors" played into their reasoning.

The book however will be in their stockroom and available for purchase online but not displayed.

I’m not sure if this falls under the category of irony, hypocrisy or just business and floor space.

Walmart carries, ‘R’ rated movies, video games, weaponry and all kinds of other items that may be considered “too violent” by some.

I can't see it being about taking valuable shelf space and not selling as this would be a sure sell at the discount retailer.

I bring this up mostly because about 20 years ago the same thing happened except back in 1995, the controversy about violence was over the cover of the Goo Goo Dolls, “A Boy Name Goo” CD cover.
