Waterville Humane Society Will Help You Take a Crap on Your Ex

If you're like most people, you probably read that headline and thought to yourself, "I don't know what this is all about, but I'm interested, tell me more." Ask, and you shall receive. The fundraiser is affectionately known as 'From Love to Litter' and it's all the rage.

Let us let you... that sounded weird.. let us let you in on the full scoop. The litter box scoop. Right now, for a small donation, the Waterville Humane Society will let you write your ex's (or whoever you want) name on a slip of paper and they'll chuck it into one of the shelter cat's litter boxes.

The shelter's fundraising coordinator told WABI TV 5 News,

”With a minimum of a dollar donation, our community can put an ex’s name on a slip of paper and we will throw it into our cat’s litter box for them to do their business. We started doing from Love to Litter last year, and it was a big hit with the community. Our shelter runs solely on donations from the public. We don’t receive any federal or state funding. So we absolutely love donations in our community to support us. It’s just a fun community engagement to get people laughing obviously people love this event.”
