If you usually grab a coffee before tackling your Walmart shopping, you might have noticed something… a bit, well, off.
Dunkin has disappeared.

That’s right, the Dunkin’ which was once all tucked into the Augusta Walmart on 201 Civic Center Drive is gone. Vanished without a trace.
Not a coffee pot filter, no donut crumbs, not even the sound of steam, just an empty space where our caffeine once thrived.
So, instead of letting this perfect real estate go to waste..
What do you think should take the old Dunkin's place inside Walmart?
Me? I have a few ideas that would be a perfect fit for Maine shoppers.
Aroma Joe’s
Now, just because Dunkin’ has left us, doesn’t mean coffee lovers have to go without their daily hit. Aroma’s is amazing and a Maine staple. They are known for their delicious Rush energy drinks.
Dog Grooming Service
Okay, hear me out.
Our dogs are needy, and they are our goodest boys, am I right? And when we need to stock up on groceries, which sometimes take a while, it would be the perfect time to get our puppy's groomed, in-house! Good idea huh?

Local Coffee Shop
We always want to support locals here in Maine and having a locally owned coffee house, to sit, sip, write poetry and so on, would be amazing. You get my drift. With goodies and treats, a local coffee spot would fit well inside the Walmart location.
So what are your thoughts, Augusta? Would you rather see another coffee shop, maybe a pet groomers or something completely different take over the old Dunkin’ inside
Walmart? Let us know!
