Wild horses have lived on the outer banks of North Carolina for 500 years!  This is not their first hurricane and this will not be their last.

There has been concern for the wild horses with Hurricane Dorian and they will not evacuated. The horses will do that they have done for hundreds of years.  According to CNN the horses will stay, head to high ground and huddle together under a large oak tree…their horsey butts to the wind.

They also have a caretaker that will stay with them as well.  So they will do OK!
