Windham Police Seek Info On Man With Hatchet

According to the Portland Press Herald, on Sunday at around 2pm, police were called to a home off Webb Road where a mother and her 12 year old son reported that a man had tried to break into their home. He was reported to be wearing a Halloween mask of a baby with bright blue eyes and over-sized buckteeth wielding a hatchet. When the family dog lunged at the man, he fled into the woods near the home.

According to the story, the man is described as dark skinned and was seen wearing dark bluejeans, a light blue ripped T-shirt, and a blue baseball cap on backwards. Anyone with information about the man is being urged to contact the Windham Police Department at 892-1000.
