So the NFL regular season is over and it is playoff time.

I have been strutting around the offices this week here at Townsquare Media after winning our office football pool for the regular season. I am thinking of going to the Dollar Store and buying myself an imitation WWE Championship belt to wear. So I must know lots about football, you ask? Hardly. I am just a fan like anyone else and got lucky this year.

So without any further adieu, here are my picks for wild card weekend.

No. 5 Oakland (12-4) at No. 4 Houston (9-7)

TV: 4:35 p.m. ET (ESPN) Saturday

Oakland has lost QB David Carr and might be starting a 3rd string QB, and it's hard for me to like Brock Osweiler, but I think Houston has this one at home.

My Pick:

Houston 24

Oakland 13

No. 6 Detroit (9-7) at No. 3 Seattle (10-5-1)

TV: 8:15 p.m. ET (NBC) Saturday

It's hard to bet against Seattle's defense, especially at home. Detroit has had a tough schedule down the stretch. I like the Seahawks in this one.

My Pick:

Seattle 31

Detroit 10

No. 6 Miami (10-6) at No. 3 Pittsburgh (11-5)

TV: 1:05 p.m. ET (CBS) Sunday

The Dolphins beat the Steelers 30-15 way back October, but lots has changed since then. Miami will be starting Matt Moore at QB, but Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger has too many weapons, and at home, the Steelers should win, fairly easily.

My Pick:

Pittsburgh 34

Miami 13

No. 5 N.Y. Giants (11-5) at No. 4 Green Bay (10-6)

TV: 4:40 p.m. ET (Fox) Sunday

This could be the game of the weekend. It will be interesting to see if the recent story about some of the Giants players partying with Justin Bieber in Miami last weekend will have any effect on how they play Sunday. (Who wouldn't want to party with the Biebs?) But they are getting slayed in the New York media. I have been wavering on this pick all week, but Aaron Rodgers at home in Green Bay is tough to go against. The NY Giants are one tough football team, but I like Green Bay.

My Pick:

Green Bay 27

New York 21

There you have it. My picks were decided over hours of research, and a dime that I used to flip when I was undecided, which was often! I picked the home teams in all games, which some may say is the easy way out when in doubt; and I say you are absolutely correct!

Please feel free to comment, agree, or disagree with any and all of my picks.
