‘Chrome Dome’ Would Sound Better but a Copper One Looks Better When it Comes to the State House

I’ve lived in the capital area my entire life and I’ve never seen the dome on the Capitol building anything but baby-puke green! This is the color it is suppose to be…the color God intended copper to be. It’s just that the elements wreak havoc on the metal and, after a while, it gets snot green again (sorry about the verbiage, but you have to admit, while not very pleasant, it IS descriptive).

The picture could have been better but this is a video grab from my phone. I didn’t want to be snapping pictures while driving down Capitol Street so I just held the phone up hoping I’d get something I could use.
