First and foremost, yes, that's a picture of my dog Rambo. Isn't he precious? Tell him he's precious!!

Anyway, now that we've covered that, who else is excited about this news? Also, am I literally the last person on planet Maine to learn about this? I was scrolling through WABI's website this morning when I came across this and I was immediately thrilled.

Why was I immediately thrilled? Well, because I NEVER register my dog on time. Nope, not one single time have I managed to get it done and avoid the late penalty. And that's even with my friends at the Windsor Town Office literally CALLING me and telling me I need to come get it done. Nah, still don't get it done on time.

Governor Mills has signed an executive order that allows people more time to get their dogs required rabies vaccine and subsequent annual registration taken care of. Instead of the end of January, Maine doggo owners now have until June 2nd to get this done. You can also take care of it online by clicking this link.. yes this one!

Now, I'm certain that even with the added time I will still miss the deadline. It's just who I am. I will pay the fines undoubtedly. But, for the rest of you, be a good citizen and get your dogs registered up!
