Maine police officers officers are attending the funeral (Dec. 27) of New York Police Department Officer Rafael Ramos, who was shot and killed a week ago in Brooklyn. Ramos, 40, was killed last Saturday (Dec. 20) by a gunman who shot, him and fellow officer, 32-year-old Wenjian, in their patrol car before killing himself. Liu's funeral arrangements are still pending.
This is wonderful news. Bowdoin College in Brunswick announced today (Dec. 22) that it will “provide full financial aid” to Justin Ramos. Justin, son of officer Rafael Ramos, is currently a sophomore at Bowdoin.

There is a trending story going around about a New York Yankees fan, Andrew Rector, who fell asleep at Yankee Stadium during a game as they took on the Red Sox back in April 2014. ESPN took video of fans in the stands and focused in on him because he was sleeping. Rector is suing for $10 million for defamation of character. The organizations named in the suit are MLB, New York Yankees and ESPN.

I am always one for conspiracy theories when it comes to UFOs. Last evening in the Montreal area there was a a flash of light seen and a loud crashing boom heard at about 8 pm, but what was it?
