The Billboard #1s for Years and Births

It’s almost the end of the year. Now is the time when all of the 'Best of 2012' lists come out. When it comes to music, we ask what will the #1 song will be? I looked for the year end chart on Billboard and didn’t see anything. My guess would be “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. The other possible #1 from this year might be “One More Night” from Maroon 5? Time will tell. The data is already in, we’re all just waiting for the post and chart.

Looking back over the years, the #1 song for the year in 1982 according to Billboard was “Physical” from Olivia Newton-John. The #1 song again by Billboard in 1992 was “End of the Road” by Boys II Men and 10 years ago, the #1 on the year end Billboard chart was “How You Remind Me” by Nickelback.

The #1s for my kids’ births, I still know. Dylan, my oldest who is 13, his #1 from when he was born was 'Genie In A Bottle' by Christina Aguilera. Justin our 10 year old, his was 'How You Remind Me' by Nickelback and Vikki our youngest at 18 months, was 'Rolling In The Deep' by Adele.
