A Maine man is dead following a pedestrian vs vehicle crash that happened over the weekend.

According to WGME 13, Levi Jewell, 29, had just moved into his new home in Wilton, Maine on Sunday, was walking with traffic on Munson Road when he was struck and killed.

Police say Jewell was walking 'with traffic' (in the same direction as traffic) near his new home when he was hit by a passing Ford F-350 pickup truck. That truck was being driven by a 29-year-old man from Farmington, Maine.

First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident after life-saving measures were unsuccessful.

At this time, it is not clear whether the driver of the Ford pickup will be facing any charges in relation to the crash.

This is a developing story and we will keep it updated as more information becomes available to us.
