Teen Born in the U.S. Has No Proof She’s a Citizen

Alecia Faith Pennington is 19-years old and can't prove she exists. Alicia can not prove her identity or citizenship as an American even though she was born in Texas.

Here is her story. Her parents neglected to file a birth certificate or get her a social security number. She was home schooled and never has been to a hospital.

She says her parents refuse to help her obtain sufficient documents as proof.
