All Things Scottish as Scotland Votes on Independence

Today Scotland votes on whether to become independent from the United Kingdom. Does it affect our lives in the US? I guess we’ll see in time if the vote goes through.

Whether it has an affect on the US and the rest of the world or not, I thought it would be fun to roll out a bit of Scotland in a post.

I was hoping we could do a video on taste testing the different types of scotch whisky but I couldn’t get that OKd, so a close second would be to talk about all things Scottiish which we all know and love and or remember.

Over the past 30 or so years, Scotland has brought us bands like Big Country, Del Amitri and Simple Minds.

Scotland has also given us a few TV and movie stars, like Sir Sean Connery, Alan Cumming, Craig Ferguson and Ewan McGregor.

It’s still too bad we couldn’t do the scotch whisky taste test but oh well. I’ll raise my Diet Coke in celebration to bagpipes, haggis, kilts and all things that sound better spoken in a brogue.
