If your water is supplied by the Augusta Water District, they will be flushing the water mains all next week (September 24th - 28th).  How will this affect you?

As a result of the mains being flushed, it will turn your water a rusty color.  They are suggesting that you avoid washing your laundry because it could cause discoloration of your clothing.  Their website does not indicate that you should avoid drinking the water...however, it's probably wise (in my opinion) to always have bottled water on reserve.
