According to WMTW, law enforcement pulled a body from the Penobscot River in Bucksport on Wednesday afternoon.

The body was found near the Bucksport-Verona  at about 2:30 PM on Wednesday.

There was a large police presence on West Side Drive in Bucksport on Thursday morning.  In attendance were members of the Bucksport Police, State Police, and Hancock County Sheriff's Office.  Law enforcement started clearing the scene at approximately 10:45 AM.

There is no word on whether or not the police presence has anything to do with the body pulled from the river.  Also, law enforcement has said nothing about the age, gender, or identity of the deceased.
