Not that we're wishing away summer, but after this wicked-chilly winter, we could all use a little 'Maine fair' in our lives. However, we will have to wait awhile as the epic Windsor Fair doesn't kick-off again until August 28th, 2022.

For now, one of Maine's oldest agricultural fairs, the Windsor Fair, sits idly by patiently waiting for the hundreds of thousands of people that will pass through the midway, food trucks and grandstand areas this fall.

Since we live in Windsor, I frequently take the kids to the fairgrounds in the offseason to ride their bikes and scooters since there's loads of paved roads and wide open spaces to play. Have you ever wondered what the place looks like completely deserted? Well today's your lucky day.
