Yearling Rescued at Lewsiton Solid Waste Facility

A doe was rescued yesterday (Dec. 14) from a retaining pond at Lewiston's Solid Waste Facility on River Road.

Animal control officers say they have no idea how long the deer was stuck in the cold water, because the facility is not manned over the weekend.
