Cats, Canines, & Cornhole Happening at This Maine Sports Pub
Head on into Lewiston for an exciting and unique event all celebrating furry friends. This novel event is taking place at Slider's Sports Pub on May 16 at noon!
They present the "Cats, Canines, and Cornhole" extravaganza, which promises fun and friendly competition for our beloved local animals.
You can get ready to show off your cornhole skills while mingling with fellow animal lovers. There will be teams set up as "Cats" and "Canines", so pick your animal and get throwing!
Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game of cornhole, everyone is welcome to join in on the friendly competition, all for the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. The GAHS is a non-profit helping our local animals find homes. They rely on donors and count on the kindness of those donors.
Your generosity sustains them, which enables the good people of GAHS to provide essentials like pet food, cat litter, enrichment items, staff resources, as well as maintaining their facility and ensuring it remains well-lit, according to their site.
This great event is highlighting sports fun for a cause, and who doesn't want to help animals?
And while you're playing, don't forget to take several bites out of Slider's mouthwatering dishes. They offer a menu featuring classic favorites and tasty treats, as well as yummy beverages.
Raffles and prizes are also included!
But the highlight of this event is all about finding pets good homes so they can thrive.
So be sure to mark your calendars or head on over to Slider's event page to find out more info!
