An elderly Maine man lost his life this week after a tragic accident occurred at his home in Newburgh, Maine.

According to an article published by WMTW, officials responded to a call for help at a residence in Newburgh. They were told a man had been cutting trees out back when one had come down on top of him.

When they arrived, they found the 79-year-old unidentified man deceased underneath the fallen tree. Officials say that the man was alone when the accident happened.

Though the man remains unidentified to the public at this time, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
