Family Dollar is Closing 370 Stores Nationwide

Family Dollar is closing stores nationwide. The discount chain is closing 370 of their 8,100 stores in 46 states.

The reason for the closing is sales were less than expected and the winter weather is partly to blame ,according to Family Dollar execs.

Jobs will be lost and prices will be cut on 1,000 products. No word whether if or where in Maine stores will close.
