Happy 70th Wedding Anniversary to George and Barbara Bush!

I was going through the things that happened on this date and this came up; on January 6th, 1945 former President George H.W. Bush and Barbara were married. The two part-time Maine residents are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today.

Say what you want about Bush family politics, but 70 years married is quite an amazing feat.

I thought being married 14 years was a long time, we have to continue another 50 years to even come close.
