WMTW reported that a family from Pennsylvania were visiting friends and staying at a home in Eliot when they noticed phone style chargers in bathrooms and bedrooms that they found to look suspicious.

According to the website, a teenager in the family figured out that the chargers were actually tiny cameras with micro SD cards. The family turned the SD cards over to police who quickly got a search warrant.

With a search warrant obtained, police were able to review the information on the SD cards and found recordings of people in the bathrooms and bedrooms of the home, the news station reported.

The article stated that based on the evidence gathered on the SD cards, police say they issued an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Samuel Mickey of Boston, who was arrested Thursday by Boston police and will face a violation of privacy charge here in Maine.

The investigation is ongoing.
