If you've been listening to the Moose Morning Show for more than five minutes than you know I've been talking (ad nauseum) about getting the Apple Watch. Well, as clearly seen in the photo of this article, I did it. But I blame ( I mean credit ) my wife with the purchase.

Tuesday evening as Keri was getting done work for the day she noticed a green tint taking over the screen of her iPhone XR. You should also know that my wife takes insanely good care of all her things, so we were both a little surprised by this.

Not knowing what was going to happen, she backed everything up to the cloud. About an hour after that, the entire screen died. I asked her if she wanted to do an insurance claim for another iPhone XR or if she just wanted to get a new phone. You can imagine her answer, especially since I have the 12 Pro Max.

Wednesday, after the Moose Morning Show, I went over to US Cellular at the Augusta Crossing Mall and told Sierra that I needed an iPhone 12 Pro in slate blue. As she went out back to grab the phone I couldn't help but notice the beautiful display of Apple Watches staring me right in the eyes. It quickly occurred to me that if I didn't do it now, I probably never would. As Sierra re-emerged from the backroom with Keri's new phone I asked if she could also grab a series 6 Apple Watch.

In retrospect, I'm really glad I got it when I did. And, because Keri and I both have the slate blue iPhone 12, I decided to get my watch in slate blue, too. It's literally the most fashionable thing I've ever done in my life considering I'm wearing bright red basketball shorts and a lime green tee as I'm writing this.

The best part? Since I bought these devices outright, we're technically already eligible for an upgrade! However, I think it's going to be awhile until we buy more fancy gadgets. I will never financially recover from this.
