Here in Maine, there are a couple of impossible to miss signs that spring is on the way.  Longer days, warmer temperatures, and the re-opening of Belanger's Drive-In in Fairfield.

For half a century, Belanger's has been a serving up amazing meals to locals and visitors in Central Maine.  If you don't live in Fairfield, the meals at Belanger's really are worth the drive.

In addition to chicken and fish baskets, lobster rolls, wraps, and ice cream, Belanger's has so much more.

According to their website:

We also have a long list of homemade items you can pick up, such as: spaghetti sauce, meatballs, soups, dynamite sauce, gravy, and coleslaw! And if that wasn’t enough, we also smoke our own meats, brisket, turkey, and pulled pork! The tradition of making homemade meat pies such as Tourtiere, Turkey, and Salmon still lives on. With our handmade crust and recipes that are decades old, it’s not a surprise that these pies sell consistently all year long, including thousands around the holidays.

After being closed for several months for their winter break, they have announced they'll be re-opening on March 1st at 10 AM.

You can find Belanger's at 84 Main Street in Fairfield.  Check out their menu online HERE
