Arriving at Water Street on Halloween Eve, Eve was magical. We got a bit of rain early in the evening and then the Halloween Gods gave us a treat and lifted the rain. It wasn't too cold and everyone was ready to party. Being a first-timer at this event was very special because I was able to witness the comradery and festive nature of all involved.

The costumes were unimaginable! As you stood in the middle of the street and took a look around you, you noticed all of the buildings were slightly lit up, with decorations on all storefronts and it felt like you were dropped from the sky into a Halloween Lifetime Movie.

There was an array of very inventive costumes. Parents and children alike dressed up in their favorite characters, from all of the supers heroes to Wizard of Oz, Harry Potters, Princesses, Pikachu's, Police officers, and Pizza, however, the inflatable costumes commanded the night!

Inflatable costumes were extremely popular. They are very entertaining and playful and they ruled the night!

To start off the evening we had a dancing dinosaur give us a show!

Run! We've got an abduction! Any fan of UFOs and Alien life is a friend of mine and this one was imaginative and dare I say, out of this world?

Parents were phenomenal, all taking part with their children to experience the festive night. This parent repped the traditional route, dressing up as a classic pumpkin.

The evening was enchanting and not to mention filled with the terror from all of the Freddy's and Jasons!

Many businesses on Water Street were involved in this event, decorating and setting up tables to pass out candy. This is a memorable event that many will look forward to each year. Happy Halloween!

True Events That Happened In Maine That Should Be Made Into Horror Movies

From time to time you see a local headline that reads like the synopsis to a horror movie. Maine has seen its fair share of grizzly murders, ghost stories, and possible proof of cryptid beats in the woods. While some stories may be hard to prove true, their basis is believable enough to live in infamy in local folklore. Here are five movie-grade events that happened in Maine that we'd watch if turned into a horror flick.
