The Chicken Wings From This Maine Pizzeria Need to Be Experienced

If you love good pizza, there is a good chance that you have eaten at Burano’s Wood-Fired Pizza at least once.

The regional chain (with locations in Hallowell, Bath, and Scarborough), does have some amazing pizza.

However, their menu includes way more than just pizza.  Burano’s has burgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta dishes, and wings.

Actually, we need to talk about Burano’s signature chicken wings.  If you try only one thing from Burano’s Wood-Fired Pizza, it needs to be these wings!

Their signature wings are batter-dipped and deep-fried.  Then they are tossed in a special peanut butter sweet chili sauce.  The icing on the cake (or bacon on the top) is that they have chopped-up bacon sprinkled on top.

They are the perfect combination of sweet & savory, with just enough spice to satisfy the masculine.  And the bacon is the perfect addition.

These wings come in either bone-in or boneless.  When I had them, I went with the boneless because I thought they would be easier for the kids to eat.  I always love giving my daughters a chance to try new foods.

Both Annie and Denise loved them, by the way.
