What To Expect From The Maine Attraction Dating Show

Move over, Bachelorette, Maine is coming in hot with an all new reality dating show and this is going to be spicy and local!

We’re officially entering the dating game with a brand new series called, The Maine Attraction set to premiere in 2026, according to FOX ABC MAINE YouTube.

Filming begins in the greater Bangor area in June and will wrap in August and so far, this is looking pretty awesome, with contestants competing for romance set against the backdrop of Maine.

One of the driving forces behind the project is Soubanh Phanthay, who serves as executive director and producer as per the video. He’s also a city council member here in Maine and is passionate about showcasing everything the state has to offer.

So, here's the concept a bunch of singles from the ages of 21-35 are thrown into a dating experiment where those sparks will either fly or not, in real time.

All singles are from Maine, of course, and the show will mix intimate dates with a competition twist.

They don’t just fall in love, they will rank each other, eliminate on another and ultimately navigate their connections. The goal is to help young Maine singles build confidence, form connections and maybe even find a lasting love.

According to their Facebook page,

The mission is this,

"Matching people in Maine to solve some social and economic challenges, such as the workforce, aging population, tourism, and getting around the awkward dating scene in our state."

The concept isn't anything we've seen so far in the reality tv dating world. Truly urging young people to stay in Maine.

This is especially hard in the dating world right now, where finding love can feel overwhelming.

And the winning couples will score local prizes and adventures to keep that connection going even after the show.

But here‘s the best part, you don’t need cable or a package to a streaming service because the full episodes will be available on YouTube.

The Maine Attraction might be your next guilty and hopefully will be released September/October 2026.
