Knox County Deputies Warn Parents After Possible Attempted Abduction Of Young Girl In Owls Head

Knox County deputies are warning parents to talk to their children about safety after three men attempted to get a young girl to get in a car with them in Owls Head yesterday afternoon (Sept. 18).

According to a post on the Knox County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the girl, who did not recognize the men, refused to get into the vehicle and eventually ran into a wooded area to escape the men. She was not harmed in any way, and was able to safely return home to report the incident.
