Locally Owned Clothing Store is Inspiring Woman of All Shapes & Sizes
When Maggie Norzow was just 21 years old she decided to open a store in Lisbon Falls. This story is called, EastCraeft. This was 8 years ago and this woman's clothing store is still going strong. I'd like to highlight something she is doing that is very refreshing.
Female equality in business has been something we've all been fighting for, uphill, for a long time.
When I spoke to Maggie, it was extremely obvious what she wants her store to represent. Equality in all shapes and sizes. Maggie wants all women to know that no matter what size they are, she will help. It's so refreshing, as a woman, during our extremely busy lives, to know that we have a safe haven for fashion that respects our bodies and will cater to any weight we are at.
They opened EastCraeft in 2014 and specialize in unique boutique clothing and accessories.
Maggie told me,
I really wanted to open a clothing boutique where women could come shopping with their friends regardless of size. I didn’t think it was right that a size small friend and a size 3X friend couldn’t shop together in the same store and have access to the same trendy and affordable fashion.
The woman of EastCraeft enjoy showcasing our clothing on multiple body types on social media so people can envision what an outfit may look like on them.
They just started their ninth year of business and are looking forward to putting out their fall line.
I encourage you to go and check them out! You can get all of the information about the store and what they offer here!
