Rowen just rang the bell recently for radiation and is now on his way to 48 weeks of chemotherapy.

Emily Rednour is Rowen's mom, an Augusta woman who has shared the deeply emotional journey of her baby boy’s battle with cancer.

Rowen is a warrior.

Emily told WABI after hearing her child had cancer that it was a "very out of body feeling."

Rednour got the impossible news in June that her 4-year-old son had medulloblastoma, which is the most common form of malignant brain tumor found in children, according to the Mayo Clinic, per the report from WABI.

Just two days later, Rowen was in surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, where doctors worked to remove the mass from his brain, according to the news station.

The seven-hour high-risk procedure ended in a miracle, and Rowen came through it without any impairments, the news station reported.

The Rednour family consists of seven incredible people, who are supporting and loving each other throughout this ordeal.

GoFundMe was set up to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses they've been facing. The site was updated recently saying young Rowen was just a couple of days away from completing 30 rounds of proton radiation in his battle against medulloblastoma. Despite facing severe rashes and two anaphylactic reactions, he handled the treatment well.

So now, after a brief recovery time, Rowen will begin 48 weeks of chemotherapy. His low white blood cell counts have left him vulnerable to infection, which forced the family to homeschool their children.

Rowen’s family remains hopeful and grateful for the support they've received during this challenging time saying, "We are forever Rowen Strong."

Please consider supporting this family as they navigate an incredibly challenging situation.
