Maine Family Desperately Searching For Little Boy’s Teddy Bear Memorial To Late Father
A family from Limington is hoping for a Christmas miracle after a 3-year-old boy lost the Teddy Bear he called his "Daddy Bear," which served as a memorial to his late father.
According to a report from WGME, the boy's mother, Kelsey Higgins, was at the Maine Mall with her 3-year-old son, when she noticed the bear was missing around 2:30 on Wednesday.
The story said the bear served as a reminder for the young boy of his father, who was killed in a car accident in May.
The boy's aunt, Molly Whyte asked for help locating the bear on Facebook. According to WMTW, the family said the bear was meant to hold the father's ashes, but the ashes were not in the bear when it was lost.
