While it is technically fall here in New England, we still get random days and even a span of days, where summer rears its head and reminds us that the warm days aren't a thing of the past... yet.

So parents, how many of you typically order or purchase your kids' Halloween costumes a size or two bigger than what they would normally wear so that you can layer them up in long Johns and winter-wear and then put the costume over all of that to keep them warm?

Well, as it turns out, you're probably going to wish that you had purchased their costume in their normal size this year. This is because, in case you haven't heard the buzz, there's going to be a bit of a heatwave moving through the area this Thursday.

According to Weather.Gov, The beginning of the week is actually shaping up to be the coldest. As a matter of fact, much of Maine woke up to temperatures in the mid 20s on Monday morning.

Should we reopen the pool and get the mowers back out? Probably not, though it will certainly be nice to go trick or treating with the kids without having to take 'warm up' breaks in the car every 5 houses.
