Maine Learning Center Wants To Send Kids To Mars

According to WABI TV, Bangor's Challenger Learning Center recently found out they were getting a $100,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation.

Their goal is to raise an additional $200,000.

The money will go toward updating their equipment, some of which is 15 years old, and will be used to create an adventure that would send students to Mars.

The learning center, basically a local version of NASA's Space Camp, is one of over 4 dozen learning centers across the United States.  Check them out HERE and watch this video to learn more.
